This app is a great tool for the chef in your kitchen. Put this on an iPad, load up your favorite recipes then put a few in the viewer and put it on your counter-top. As long as the viewer is being presented the iPad will not time out. This will allow you to constantly refer back to the recipe, zoom in and scroll through the recipe as you progress. Recipes can be added through the iTunes app using the File Sharing link -OR- read from a network assessable storage device (NAS).
